Ms. Hudgens surprised us on Tuesday (June 1st) when she joined a distinguished group of women from film and television at this year’s Women in Film‘s “Crystal + Lucy Awards”.

Vanessa wore a black chiffon number by MaxMara dress, which she and her stylist apparently “customized”. They cut-off a gown because it seemed, in her words, “too formal”. She took the look from demure to ba-bavoom – that’s fashion bravery right there! So so proud!
