This week was a slow one for news: Vanessa is still in Vancouver filming Sucker Punch, sometimes even until 3am. Our girl will need some rest after filming wraps, that’s for sure. There haven’t been any paparazzi pictures, which is a good thing. It’s always good to know she has some relief in that department.

It hasn’t been all work and no play for Vanessa though. The cast (and crew) went out to celebrate Jena’s (Malone) birthday and Vanessa checked out Dirty Rotten Scoundrels at the Vancouver Playhouse, with Carla Gugino.

Now, we hope you’ve picked up a copy of “A Very Special Christmas” or at least bought Vanessa’s version of “Winter Wonderland” off the album. If you haven’t, we are currently giving away a copy of “Winter Wonderland” to 5 of our followers in Twitter. All you need to do is reply or retweet by 5pm ET on Wednesday, December 2nd. You do have to be a US-resident and have an Itunes account to enter. We’ll pick the winners randomly and make an annoucement soon after we close the contest.

Around the internet, Bandslam was positioned at number 23, in the “Best Movies of 2009” ranking by Starpulse. This shows that even though marketing for the movie was BAD, the GOOD reviews continue, which is great. The rest of the list can be found here: [ TH forum]. And in “Beastly” related front, the Beastly Facebook Page is promising “special opportunities” for their fans once they reach 3000. So now is the time to join if you haven’t join already. Maybe this would mean we get to see the poster or lenticular in HQ.
