A note to a twitter poser

Dear twitter poser,
I thought I’d just drop you a little friendly note on your bizarre activities on twitter. If you have to pose as high profile celebrities such as Vanessa Hudgens and her friends, here are a few tips to make you more credible or save you from yourself:
- Research the people you want to pose as thoroughly
- Learn good grammar and how to spell
- Watch their interviews and understand the kind of projects they’re gunning for
- Stay within the remit of what cannot be verified or proved wrong much later
- Keep on top of their itinerary
- Don’t push credibility with the stories
- Check whether someone has beat you to it
- Do not sound like a 13 year old
- Never assume everyone is as daft as you are (granted, there are exceptions)
- Get some psychiatric help, they have drugs for multiple personality disorder, or in a layman’s terms, delusion.
I hope this proves helpful and not too late. I admit it takes an advanced sort of imbalance to assume multiple personalities, pose as celebrities, have conversations with yourself and live out your fantasy on twitter but hey, we’ve made solid advances in modern medicine. I’m sure there is a new drug somewhere that will cure you.
If not, Grandma’s true and tried cure always works: Grow up!
